We're pleased to have you join us from Shareview Dealing
Like Shareview Dealing, EQi is a share dealing platform that is part of the Equiniti group.
EQi was re-launched in 2020 following a review of what DIY investors value most and offers better features, more products and free expert insight.
As an upgrade, we moved all Shareview customers' investment accounts and ISAs to EQi in early 2021.
On EQi, you will be joining tens of thousands of customers who also value independence, choice and control over their investments.
When you first log in to EQi you can use the same log in details you used on Shareview. Then you will be asked to set a new eight-digit PIN for enhanced security, which you will use to log in to EQi ongoing.
Even if your account was locked on Shareview you can still log in to EQi. If you have forgotten your password, simply select ‘Forgotten your PIN’ on the log in page and a temporary PIN will be generated and sent you by email.
The value of investments can fall as well as rise and any income from them is not guaranteed and you may get back less than you invested. Past performance is not a guide to future performance.
EQi does not provide investment advice. If you are in any doubt as to the risk or suitability of an investment or product you should seek advice from an independent financial adviser.
The extent and value of any ISA tax advantages or benefits will vary according to the individual's circumstances. The levels and bases of taxation may also change.
As a company we have been offering share-dealing services for 20 years and EQi now has over 60,000 customers.
We are happy to say that almost 90% of our EQi investors have been customers for over five years.
Our platform offers more than just trading. As investment specialists, we focus on the products and resources that help to make your money work harder and which are tax smarter.
We provide tools, data and research on investments from independent and industry-leading analysts at Morningstar. You can build your own watchlist and view Morningstar’s assessment of what represents fair value for its stock as well as a star ratings and other key considerations.
Plus, view latest UK stock tips and alerts from Stockomendation and easily review of the balance of your investments with Portfolio X-Ray, the tool that shows how diversified your portfolio is in a matter of seconds.
With EQi, you’ll now have the opportunity to invest in funds. They are a popular choice for investors as they allow you to instantly buy into a basket of different assets.
EQi has partnered with Square Mile, the independent investment research business, to offer a list of selected funds to get you started.
As part of our commitment to transparency and independence, EQi does not receive a fee or commission should you invest in any of the funds, and neither does Square Mile.
We commission financial journalists to provide market insights and strategies to our investors.
Plus, we have a podcast called The Smart Money so you can listen to insight on a range of investing topics.
All you need to do to stay up-to-date is select the content you’d like to receive direct to your inbox.
With an account on EQi, you can have a Flexible ISA or a SIPP and your dealing account will be free of charge. Keeping costs down is important, as charges can eat away at your returns.
As an investor, you may have other investment accounts beyond Shareview Dealing. You can transfer a dealing account, ISA, LISA or SIPP from another provider to EQi to take advantage of our flat fee structure.
Costs depend upon the account you have, the type of investments you hold and the type and frequency of trades you make. Overall, EQi is committed to keeping costs low for all customers.
As we are committed to transparency, we’ve also set out how our key fees compare to charges on Shareview Dealing.
We have an FAQs page dedicated to answering your questions as a Shareview customer moving to EQi
