Keep up to date with corporate actions and manage voluntary events from your EQi dashboard
Corporate actions are notices to shareholders about a change the company plans to make. This can be something as simple as a change in ticker name on the stock exchange, or it will be an alert about a bigger change such as a planned acquisition, changes to dividend payments, a merger, a stock split or even bankruptcy.
You can view voluntary corporate actions - UK rights issues, open offers or takeovers - relating to companies in which you are invested from your EQi dashboard. If an offer is showing you will be able to open and view more details, decide whether to take part and edit your selection until the action closes.
For mandatory events and actions relating to companies outside the UK, we notify you by secure message.
With voluntary corporate actions visible on your dashboard, you’ll have more control over your decision to act as an individual investor.
Investing involves risk. The value of investments can fall as well as rise, and you may get back less than you originally invested.
Tax treatment and any benefits available through ISAs, SIPPs and Lifetime ISAs depend on your individual circumstances and may change in the future.
EQi does not provide investment advice, so if you are unsure whether an investment or product is right for you, you should seek independent financial advice before making a decision.
